[ARCHIVED] LiveWell seeking community input about access to healthy foods, activity

LiveWell Lawrence is hosting a Community Health Planning Meeting, where participants will help set priorities for increasing access to nutritious foods and opportunities for physical activity in Douglas County.

The meeting is open to the public and will be:

  • 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, August 17
  • at the Community Health Facility, 200 Maine Street, second floor.
  • Food and child care will be provided. If you need child care, please contact Karrey Britt at kbritt@ldchealth.org or 785-865-7362 by 5 p.m. August 15.

Residents who participate will help set priorities and strategies for Douglas County policymakers, leaders, businesses, agencies, volunteers and residents to work on during the next five years. These strategies will be included in the 2018-2023 Community Health Improvement Plan.
