LiveWell Douglas County Healthy Child Care

Help early childhood centers and home-based child care providers in Douglas County create supportive environments for: active play, healthy eating, limited screen time and a tobacco-free home or center, including vaping and third-hand smoke. Funds are used to upgrade facilities or equipment, improve access to nutritious foods, and provide educational training/resources for providers. In 2023, LiveWell Douglas County provided support to five licensed child care providers in Douglas County that worked to implement policies to provide high-quality child care.
