Building communities that support the health and well-being of all.

LiveWell Douglas County's Sexual Violence Prevention Work Group in partnership with The Sexual Trauma & Abuse Care Center, KU Center for Community Health and Development, and the Coalition for Collaborative Governance is hosting a housing forum with candidates running for Lawrence City Commission.

Housing insecurity is one of the top risk factors for experiencing sexual violence and is also a priority area of our local community health improvement plan.

All community members are welcome to attend. The Forum will be held on Thursday, Oct 30, 2025 at 6:30pm at the Douglas County Fairgrounds (Dreher 4-H Building).
