Sexual Violence Prevention

Addressing the root causes of sexual violence, such as lack of access to safe and affordable housing, gender pay inequity, high alcohol outlet density, and high levels of binge drinking. Efforts include:

• Supporting the development and implementation of a new SafeBar Alliance curriculum

• Working with the City of Lawrence and other partners to ensure affordable housing policies prohibit discriminatory practices

• Completing a 2024 Douglas County Tenant Experiences Report
