Celebrate breastmilk and build community connections! This family-focused event celebrates all the ways you feed your baby and features a community resource fair, an interactive baby sing-and-sign storytime, and a relaxed space for parents and caregivers to connect. Soon-to-be and seasoned parents both are invited to learn about local resources for pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and parenting. Children are welcome, and snacks will be available throughout the event from 10:30am - 12:00pm on Sept 26, 2026.

This event is made possible by a partnership between the Douglas County Breastfeeding Coalition, Lawrence Public Library, and other community partners.
